Day 2 with the TLP kids was devoted to prep for the camp and a parents meeting. Here are some pictures.
We had to sharpen a bunch of colored pencils for the kids at the camp. It didn’t take for the long for the TLP kids to come and offer to help. And help they did. They got them sharpened a lot quicker that we could have done.
A trial run of making rain sticks.
We were told that connections with the kids was more important than whatever the program was. Those connections were made.
This year is the first time Schaun and Kosi have involved the parents. At the end of the day there was a parents meeting. Some of them were grandparents or guardians. About 2 dozen of them showed up which was a remarkable number according toe S&K. It was super dark and tough to take pictures. But here is one that is OK.
We headed to our abode and prepared for an early morning trip to the Transkei.
