The show on Monday evening was titled “A Prairie Home Companion.” While it was not a full 2 hours, it was close to the normal PHC show with the notable exception that there was no “News from Lake Woebegone.” But, there was an episode of Lives of the Cowboys, a Ketchup Advisory Board commercial, and some great music. GK actually had a suit on and a white shirt. He was wearing his trademark red tennis shoes.
The pictures below are the performers from the show.
Fred Newman, Tim Russell, and Sue Scott. Christine DG (can’t spell her last name)
Karen Casey (Irish folk singer) Marie Jette (opera)
Opera quartet. Vern Sutton
The music on the ship is really incredibly good. And, this is only a fraction of the folks on board.
No cruise is complete without at least one sunset picture. Here it is.
We finished my night listening to a Swedish ragtime pianist and then to Howard Levy (piano and harmonic) and Chris Siebold (guitar). They were good. I know that when you hear harmonic you think that can’t be worth listening to for very long. I assure you that you would change your mind after listening to Levy play.

Another great day of sightseeing, entertainment, and music. More tomorrow about the Glenmorangie distillery and Dornoch, Scotland.
