We took short road trip to Trosa, a town on the Baltic coast. I it is a very picturesque town that many Swedes and other vacation at during the warmer months. As you can see from the pictures below, there is a small canal that runs through the town and many boats are moored along the canal. It is clearly a place where people sail there boats and spend a day or two. It is close enough to Stockholm that people can drive (or sail) there.

There was shopping for the ladies. And, of course we stopped for fika. Between us we had a carrot cake, chocolate cake, small pastry, and rhubarb cake. Tre små rum translates to three small rooms.

After our ride back to Norrköping, we had a high sprited game of minature golf.

The day finished with a very nice meal at an Italian restaurant called Enoteket. It was a very high tech restaurant. They give you a dongle which you bring to the the cashier when you order. When you pay, they read the information on the dongle and give you your bill. To buy wine, you buy a smart card which you load with money. They have 32 wines (4 banks of 8) to choose from. You insert your card in the slot and then put your glass under a spigot for the wine you want. You can buy a taste, a half glass, or a whole glass. The descriptions of the wines are in the little screen you can see in front of the wines. It was very cool.
One thing that we have discovered is that teenagers are teenagers all over the world. Yesterday at breakfast, Lisa (16) and Märta (14) showed us how to get a spoon to stick to their noses.

And, like teenagers everywher, they appear to be perpetually tired. This picture was taken after lunch. In Lisa's defense, she had spent a few days at a church camp and had gotten very little sleep during that time.
