Monday was a relaxing day with our friends.

Janne and I played golf at Bråvikens golf club, the course he belongs to. It was a challenging course. The rough was 2 foot high grass and if you ball went into it, you just hit another one because you were extermely lucky to find it. Plus, I was playing with borrowed clubs (a perfect built-in excuse). Still we had a great time. The course was beautiful. Janne told me about a way they report scores in golf which makes a lot of sense to me. Instead of saying I shot a 104 (like I did yesterday), the use a handicapped points system they call poäng (like the IKEA chair). It uses your handicap, the slope of the course you play, and your score to give you points. It is a way to compare two golfers of different abilities in a simple way. I think it should be used in the US as well.
While we were playing golf, the ladies went shopping. Clothes, especially toddler clothers for our granddaughter, were purchased. We met for fika in late afternoon.
In the evening we went to Joakim and Eva's house for a meal.

From the front left, Joakim, Janne, Vidar (age 8), Caroline, Märta (14), Alfred (12), Lisa (16), Anna, Eva, and Ulla (the very proud mother and grandmother).

Evan and Anna are sisters and the two families are quite close and have a lot of fun together.

Things can get a bit silly as the following pictures demonstrate.

A good time was had by all.
