Cozumel is a large island off the east coast of Mexico. It is almost totally a tourist island because of its beautiful beaches and its protected reef. We chose not to do much while there except walk into town and look around. Here are a couple of pictures from Cozumel.
There were 5 cruise ships in port today. That meant something like 6,000 people or more in town. Christmas themes were still prevalent. We found this nativity scene with the very blond angel interesting.
A band playing for the tourists (and for tips). We stopped for a cold drink. You can probably tell that Caroline looks as cool as a cucumber and Chuck looks sweaty and hot. I think we were both hot, but only one of us shows it.
Caroline had to have a picture of me with this donkey. For some reason, other wives were taking pictures of their husbands with the donkey. I don’t understand. What’s the deal with that???? (Caroline—No comment.)
New Years Eve on board ship tonight. There are two other couples on board that we know from PHC cruises. Dinner with them tonight.
