Sail Away Day

We made it to the boat. Rick and I (Chuck) dropped Polly and Caroline off at the terminal. They were on board having a mimosa and eating lunch before the we had returned the rental car. Finding Avis, finding a gas station, dealing with the accident, and some navigation issues took us a while, but we made it. When we were in line to board, the ship photographers were taking pictures. I told Rick let’s get our picture taken just for grins.

We had lunch, then unpacked and took a little rest. Caroline had a massage for her sore shoulder (after the accident). The rest of us gathered on the deck for the sail-away party. Here are some pictures from the ship on another beautiful day in Vancouver.

Downtown (3 of 4)

Vancouver is a beautiful city. This is a picture of downtown.

Coast

I can see why Canadians like to retire in the area.

Rick, Scott, Cindy, and Polly.

Scot

We had interesting discussions about what Scott was talking about.

Rainier

Mount Rainier. Even in the haze, it is beautiful.

Later that night, when we were going to dinner we walked by the photo shop and Chuck and Rick were looking for their picture. One of the photographers asked us who we were looking for. When we told him, he said, “Honeymooners?” Everyone got a good laugh at the comment, especially Polly, Caroline, and Cindy. The photographer thought it was hilarious! He thanked us for the good laugh as we went on our way to enjoy a nice dinner. Just so you know, the honeymoon is over. 😀 But, I suspect the joke will live on and on and on

When we were getting ready for bed Chuck noticed the moon and Venus setting together. It was amazing to see.
