Valencia, Spain

If this is Tuesday, it must be Valencia. The most vivid memory we have from Valencia is that it was HOT. We walked around the city and it was in the 90s, humid, and very still. Here are a couple of pictures from Valencia.

Ceramic tile decorations are all over Spain, in the most unusual places.

Valencia if the home of paella, but it was so hot that it just didn't seem what we wanted to eat. So, no paella in its home town. It was so hot that Chuck was dripping wet from sweat.

The last performance on the ship was a Prairie Home Companion show. It wasn't the full 2 hours like the radio program, but it still had most of the components of  the normal show including Lives of the Cowboys and Guy Noir, Private Eye. It was a fitting end to a great cruise.

There was a party on the Lido deck and we had one last game of SkipBo with our friends from Memphis. We actually beat them. We finished the cruise winning twice and losing 4 times to them. That was way better than last year when we were 0 and 6 against them.
