Amsterdam is 6 feet above sea level and full of canals. It is a bit like Venice except there are streets running along the canals so bicycle, pedestrians, and cars can move in the city easily. the canals are quite beautiful in the summer time espceially when they are adorned by a beautiful woman.
There are some house boats on the sides of the canals where people are living. Some of the house boats are very simple, and some look quite nice.
The buildings in the city are old, and interesting to look at. It is a fun city to stroll around and just absorb. We thought this house was particularly interesting.
